This biconvex Hittite seal came from Syria. The style of the Luwian inscription is rather linear, probably dating around 1200 B.C. Starting with a suggestion made by Lorenzo d'Alfonso I read: BONUS2 VIR2 ku-ni-pu(?)/ BONUS2 FEMINA la-su. The seal belonged to a couple. I can't make out a profession. However the Hittite name Kunni is attested on a cuneiform Tablet from Ugarit: RS 20.212
This Neo-Assyrian seal (chalcedony 1.4 cm) depicts a hero aiming with bow and arrow at a horned animal, "late cut style". According to a note of Prof. Lambert, University of Birmingham, it was made in Elam.
This Neo-Assyrian cylinder seal (black serpentine, 3.0 cm) belongs to the so called "linear style" group. It shows a contest scene. It has some chipping and incrustation but the style is excellent. The seals of this group date to the 9th or 8th century B.C. Please see picture with two parallel seals in Moortgat 1940. Both seals were found in Assur.
